Delivery
FREE UK delivery on every order. The price you see is the price you pay. There are no delivery charges added at checkout.
We are a small UK business based in Herefordshire, and we work with a hand-picked group of trusted brands and suppliers. Many items are sent directly from the brand's own UK warehouse, which keeps prices down and delivery quick. It also means delivery times vary slightly by product, so here is what to expect:

The estimated delivery time is also shown in the Delivery section of every product page, so you always know what to expect before you order. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. Bange and Albyce timeframes are calendar days from the date you order.
Ordering more than one item? Products from different brands are sent separately, so your order may arrive in more than one parcel on different days. Delivery is still free, whatever you order.
Tracking. You will receive an email confirmation when you order, and tracking details where the courier provides them once your parcel has been dispatched. If your order has not arrived within the estimated timeframe, email us at hello@thecleverbagcompany.co.uk with your order number and we will chase it for you straight away.
We currently deliver to UK addresses only.
Returns
We hope you love your bag, but if you change your mind you have 14 days from the day you receive your order to tell us you would like to return it. You do not need to give a reason. Once you have let us know, you then have a further 14 days to send the item back.
How to return an item
- Email hello@thecleverbagcompany.co.uk with your order number and the item you would like to return.
- We will reply with the correct return address and simple instructions. Please wait for this before posting anything, as returns go back to the brand that sent your item.
- Send the item back unused, in its original condition, with any tags and packaging where possible. We recommend using a tracked service and keeping your proof of postage.
Unless an item is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, you are responsible for the cost of returning it. You are welcome to inspect an item as you would in a shop, but we may make a deduction from your refund if its value has been reduced through unnecessary handling.
Because Albyce leather handbags are made to order, please check the colour and style carefully before purchasing. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Refunds
Once your return has been received and checked, your refund will be processed within 14 days and paid back to your original payment method. If you cancel your whole order within the 14-day cancellation period, any delivery charge you paid will be refunded too (UK delivery is free, so in most cases there is nothing extra to refund).
Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
If something arrives damaged, develops a fault or is not what you ordered, please email hello@thecleverbagcompany.co.uk as soon as possible with your order number and a photo or two showing the problem. We will put it right with a replacement, a refund or another suitable remedy, and you will not be out of pocket for reasonable return postage.
